Medium red. Plum syrup and raspberry on the fruit-driven nose. Supple and sweet, with fresh red fruit flavors complicated by leather, meat, mocha and chocolate. Offers good richness for the year. Prior to this vintage, the chateau dug up the 25% of its vineyard that was planted to what Seely described as mediocre clones.
